Overview

The small village of Achlada is built at an altitude of 189 m only 23 km away from the city of Heraklion. The settlement of Achlada is situated on top of the hill, which dominates the tourist resort of Agia Pelagia. It is a mountainous area with an amazing view. The main occupation of its inhabitants is stockbreeding and farming.
